How Do I Check The Volvo Xc90’s Tire Pressure?

It is important to check the tire pressure of your Volvo XC90 tires regularly to ensure you are rolling with properly inflated tires.

For most of the Volvo XC90’s newer models, an integrated TPMS system displays the tire pressure values on the infotainment screen. The tire pressure sensor also alerts you when there is low tire pressure.

But you won’t have this sensor for older models, particularly the Volvo XC90 released before 2007. It means you have to check your tire pressure using a reliable tire pressure gauge.

Here’s how you check your Volvo XC90 tire pressure using a tire gauge:

Step 1: Uncap the fill stem on each tire

Anytime you inflate or change tires on your Volvo XC90, you need to recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system. To do this, your car must be stationary, so the first step is to stop the engine. Then follow these steps.”

Step 2: After inflating the tires, start the engine and open the Car status app in the app view

Step 3: On the screen, click on “Status” to see the tire pressure monitoring.
